Our processing facility is the newest addition to the business. Here, we peel slice and dice produce for secondary wholesalers, and food manufacturers.

Mainly potatoes, carrots and onions, are processed, but a wide range of other products are supplied on a daily basis.

The site is fully accredited for supply to the retailers, and a team of 35 staff ensure that product is fully traceable, and of the best quality.

Our produce finds it’s way onto the menus of pubs, schools and hotels, with the majority being supplied to food manufacturers for coleslaws, meat pies, frozen foods, and ready made meals.

The produce is washed and peeled on the site. Further size reduction then occurs to the varied needs of each customer. Produce is either machine or hand cut, to be either precise or rustic cut in appearance.

Produce is chilled throughout the whole process to offer the best shelf life for our customers, although vacuum packing is available where necessary.

Our policy is to supply local produce wherever possible, but other sources are necessary to fulfil year round supply
